SCOTTSDALE RESORT & CONFERENCE CENTER AWARDS VACATIONS TO
THREE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB FAMILIES IN ARIZONA
SCOTTSDALE -- February 2010 -- The call went out in September to all Arizona Boys & Girls Club families, inviting them to enter a contest and win a family vacation at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center. The prize includes accommodations for a family of four for five nights, three meals a day, full access to recreation amenities, along with a $100 gas card provided by Shell Oil. Other local companies partnered by offering a family pass to the Arizona on the Rocks gym, horseback riding through Fort McDowell Adventures, a jeep tour with Southwest Desert Adventures, Harkins Movie Tickets and a box lunch for a family picnic.
Three winners were selected in mid-December, based on the stories they submitted.
1. The Cullen family from the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix Sands Branch
2. The Coronado family from the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley North Tempe Branch
3. The Onyi family from the Steve Daru Boys & Girls Club of Tucson
